you're a great writer! All your stuff i seen so far are great! or good.
And you've got lotsa potential. Normlay I don't giv eout pointers or anything, but this is special.

1) ADD SOUND OR AMBIENCE NOISE OR SOMETHING. (You done that well in the war one, but still coulda been better). when someone gets up, grabs a cup, writes in journal, just about ANYTHING YOU CAN CINEMATICLY SEE, (or it could be off screeN) add the sound effect. Sounds help you see. You probably know all this, so why dont you add the sounds etc.?

2) your endings can always be better. Think of a set up in the begining then pay it off in the end. You have lotsa potential, that's why im bringing up the speck in your eye even though i have a plank in mines.

okay, yes, teh patterned happened again, but it wasn't strongly focused in this one.
What I love is the strong contrast. Inteligence vs stupidity.

There's always one stupid person/obvliious and one really bright witty person.
I LOVE THAT CONTRAST! You can really spark light from the darkness with that.
